I LOVE lensflare personally, but I dont use blur. Thats just my graphics settings! (Yes, my computer ROYALY sucks) And thanks biggles! Do you have the raw photo to send me? I want to play with it! (I like playing with effects and add-ons to see what I really like) But it looks BEAUTIFUL! (Also, I find with my texture settings, on computers, my AH screens look dreadful, but when compressed in size by my iPod, they come out MUCH better!

seriously though, don't use lens flare on it, it makes the thing look cheap tacky and very fake.

I like the bright flare, I feel it adds drama. Can you suggest something else that would work equally well?

lens flare is cruddy for that. if you want a glare effect, i use lighting effects, and place a bright light somewhere on the pic, then use diffuse glow on that. after that, you touch it up a bit, and you have a great looking sun, with reflections and glints on the plane's surfaces.
