Hi All,
I have donloaded a number of Gunsights supplied by various people (thx all). But I am finding that the colour of the sight is White (Not green) and also the definition is poor. (All resolutions) am I doing something wrong?

Yep, getting the same thing here. White, not green, sights and they are darn small. The Mk8 gunsight from the Historical Gunsights page is fraggin tiny!. Running 1024x768 rez with desktop in 800x600. I tried running AH in 800x600, with no change in appearence.

well, the sight i sent to HTC was in white-- i can easily make it green, red, fusia--- whatever. If you guys would like I can send one to you. Just name it defualt (or AC specific) and put it in the gunsight folder.
as for the size-- well I dont know. It has to be that size or it wont work--least that is what I was told.

Sorry if you misunderstood. The gunsight isn't small until you try it in a plane. I tried the Mk8 in the Corsair and could barely make it out. The Revi-16D, K-14, every sight I got from http://www.ceres.dti.ne.jp/~nabezo/AH/gunsight/gunsight.htm showed up in the game as hideously small. I couldn't use them because I couldn't see them. The default sights that come with AH aren't bad, I'm using two of them now without a single problem. One of them that looks similar to the Revi I can't use because it shows up as too small in the game. Others I haven't tried yet, but plan on giving them a look-see sometime.
