I've been doing some ride alongs and have been having an issue where the person i'm with gets shot down and i cant get out of the plane unless i relog. tried rejoining,unjoining and bailing out but i always get the "you must be stopped" message when i try to escape.

tried that, but i was getting the "you must be stopped to exit flight" message

hmmm....did you try going to the #1 position (in the cocpit) before ejecting?

no, i didnt realize that you could do that when you're joined to someone ina single seater.  i'll try that.

You cannot eject when youre in someone elses plane. No matter where in the plane you are. To leave you must always End Sortie.

There has been a bug around for a long time now, that sometimes when crashing, the world keeps spinning and theres no way to get out of the plane for the joined player. Only solution i know of is a ALT_F4.

that was exactly the problem, and WOW did i get airsick.  and that was the solution.  ALT-F4.

That happens to me alot on weekends .. I usually leave the light on in the hallway and keep one foot on the floor.. it also helps if you eat a little something before you go out for the evening.:D
