Thats not what I meant. I MEANT was that paint-job on a P-51D while it flew in combat in World War Two?

There's an AH air racing forum on this BBS. It would be a nice change of pace to do some historical air racing schemes. I don't have a P51 template, but could do some F4Us or Spits if the air racers are interested.

Are we allowed to do skins just for Air Races here though? I have never heard that...

Do Spits actually get (or were they in years past) raced?  I've always wondered whether or not there was anyone interested in a skin of say Dago Red, Strega, etc.  I guess its a lot of work for something that would only get used for AHRL and then only when that plane is the race plane...

Would look cool though.
