Stick messed up following update
« on: December 08, 2006, 06:15:57 PM »
Is there a file that stores the current stick configuration in AH? I've uninstalled my sticks and reinstalled them (full ch set) and Im getting weird responses no matter what I do. Id like to start over from scratch. Do I have to remove the entire game or is there a file I can delete?
If you like the Sick Puppy Custom Sound Pack the please consider contributing for future updates by sending a months dues to Hitech Creations for account "Chalenge." Every little bit helps.

No, you dont need to uninstall the game.

All custom settings are stored in the Settings folder of your game install.

All files with a .jsm extension are Joystick/Mouse setup (you can just delete those to revert back to default)
All files with a .kmp extension are keymap files.
Files with a .hps extension are head position files stored for each plane.

PS: I regularly make a backup of my settings folder. That way, i always have a working fileset i can copy back in should something get messed up or should i need to reinstall game for some reason.

PS: I just thought: You probably dont even have to delete any files.... just hit the DEFAULT button in Joystick setup screen in game.
21 is only half the truth.

Not sure if this is the same problem, but I haven't had this problem until the last patch, I値l be rotating a turret and the damn thing will just aim up on its own, happens when I知 flying also. Like I知 pulling back on the stick but I知 not. It痴 really fing up a ton of my shots, not that I知 good but the few I can get lined setup get jacked up by this and it seems to happening with more regularity.

any help will be great becuae i'm not getting back in untill it's fixed.

i just had my mouse cursor shoot across on it's own in the same direction my stick is. anyone know what the problem is and how to fix it.
