Seems to be on par AMP wise with other popular 700W PSU's . Im not a huge fan of modular cables because they are  points of resistance, without testing that specific PSU you really don't know how much voltage you are going to lose at the connection points. Thought they say it has three +12v rails , they only give the output specs of two of them . Can you give us the price for it, that would be helpful when comparing it to what else you could get for the same money .      38

Thanks  .38

it was 79.99 UK £   or about $157   you could probably get one at a much better price over on your side of the pond :(

the instruction booklet shows all 3 +12 volt rails...

+12v1 - 1A/16A
+12v2 - 1A/25A
+12v3 - 1A/17A

the main reason i went for modular is i hate having unused cables all over the place, messin with cable ties trying to loose the excess etc.

it also has a cool looking led meter so you can see how much juice
your burning whilst playing AH
:D

19.95 UK pounds is now $157?  Amazing :)

I just researched and bought a seasonic M12 600w to replace my current power supply, a thermaltake silent purepower 480.  I'm getting random system problems and after a lot of troubleshooting, I now suspect the power supply.

The seasonics are 80%+ efficient and are typically very quiet.  The modular ones have a second fan that kicks on during high load so they're not as quiet as the non-modular ones, but they're still very quiet.

I already have a 430w seasonic PS for my HTPC and it's very quiet, no problems at all.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.
