Yeah, didnt pay much attention, but "adalert" is notorious spyware and seeing that I went with the spyware association.
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO HOO what a ride!"

Actually accoding to the November 2006 PDF file listing it listed AVG as having "Very few" False positives
Unless Im missing something

---Edit---

In fact later on in the PDF text it said nd I quote "AVG had only 1 false alarm"

Now Im not saying AVG is the be all end all.
I like using a combination of programs because as I have said a couple of times. Its obvious to me that no one program picks up everything

And it might not mean much that it found somethign the others didnt.
But what ment something to me was 1 file the others found but couldnt get rid of. Even in Safe mode
AVG did

Bringing the thread back on topic...  sorta...

If the high ground is irritatingly high mountains, give the enemy the high ground.  While he's playing junior mountain goat, go to his village, rape the women, kill the children, eat all the food, steal anything worth carrying, and then burn the place down.

Yea, it's not the western way of waging war but that's pretty much why we don't actually "win" wars anymore.  Being the good guy is more important than actually winning, so we go in, kill a few thousand people, declare moral victory, and leave the country to those who ARE willing to wage total war.

If it was our own land, then yea I could see us doing the total war plus atrocities thing, but we haven't fought over our own land for quite some time now.  Except for the illegal immigration invasion, but our fed govt has already surrendered so that doesn't count.
Everyone I know, goes away, in the end.
