U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan called Tuesday for key parties to seek a negotiated settlement with Iran over its nuclear program and warned that military intervention would be "unwise and disastrous."

I'm just wondering why this clown thinks he has any clue on the matter? And what does he mean by a "negotiated" settlement?

This guy is so freaking amazing. I wonder what the world will be like without his wisdom after he leaves his post as a behind the scenes administrator?

I think you should write a song about how you feel.

Oh, wait a minute...

To deflect the fact that he represents a Continent that is MORE CORRUPT than "a renegade country full of fanatics that will want Israel removed from the map."  Not to take anything away from Iran.   But, why worry about your OWN continent.   "Peaceful Negotiations" do NOT work with The Middle East.

Nigeria, Ethiopia, Sudan, Kenya, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, and Somalia are in turmoil right now.    Annan is a buffoon.

You know it occurred to me that if you changed one letter in that quote and backdated to 2003. It would be more prescient.

quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan called Tuesday for key parties to seek a negotiated settlement with Iraq over its nuclear program and warned that military intervention would be "unwise and disastrous."
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Yes, indeed.
