looking for a HT pop up blocker on Google now...

When i was a numbers guy....  oh wait :huh    .....  when I had numbers only as my name I would get invites all the time from players trying to join me.

was very annoying at the time.

I get to 1000 and start getting a steady line for a shot..800 finger goes on trigger...Then Blam! mason someone has invited you to join his squad...wtf. In a panic I grab for my mouse to close it out..and auger.

That's chump change.

Try drinking the last of your beer at your desk.   There are "those fights that you know will NOT be quick."   I'll pick an opportune moment to "extend" and then race to the fridge.   I have been given the "evil eye" by the wife because I have simulated "OJ Simpson in the old Hertz commericals".   Hurdling over our 5 year old sons Lincoln Log setups (being the cool dad I didn't think 1 big set was enough, so I talked the wife into getting 2) that go 3ft high is challenging at times, because there could be a moat of hot wheels cars lying on the hardwood floor.  My wife is FINALLY getting the "beer and AH" thing.   It's been almost 5 years of playing.

One time on a "beer run", I slipped on a hot wheels car, fell on my shoulder, but DID NOT let go of the beer (our 5 year old son is laughing like a hyena.  I even had a mental picture of whipping the car out of the front door and then chuckling to myself, but I didn't).   Hurt like hell for a day, but damn, that cold beer made it worth it.

I can get back perks from an augered 262, but "What if you spill a beer?"   It's gone, and that poor thing never a chance!

When I was playing Star Wars online several years ago I found myself in a similar conundrum. Being only 12 at the time, it wasnt beer, but Mountain Dew and Oreos. Kept running out over the 4 hour invasion (once a week a 'country' wanted to invade and take another 'country's' planet. I was an Imperial, so I was ALWAYS involved.) so, after a year of trying to figure things out, I saved up and bought a mini-fridge, filled it with 36 cans of Mountain Dew and 4 sleves of Oreos the night before the big fight, only to find the day I finally got to try out my HUGE investment, they had money problems and the game was permanently shut down. :( $200 down the drain :(

I did, but I wanted a REALLY good one. Might as well get something to last a lifetime. It also had to be shipped so that was the bigest part of the $200...

I hope you have proof of that injury. But most of all, I hope you get better soon.

:huh
Apparently, one in five people in the world are Chinese. And there are five people in my family, so it must be one of them. It's either my mum or my dad. Or my older brother, Colin. Or my younger brother, Ho-Chan-Chu. But I think it's Colin. - Tim Vine.

no the popup is still there, but I think it depends on the map.   I get more than my fair share,  AirScrew, almost always near the top.  I get join request from all kinds of people.  and if they do it more than once I accept them and then roll my plane and dive to the ground and try to make'm sick...[insert pucking smiley here]

I wish I could have afforded those kind of luxuries when I was 12.  :D
