what probly does it is living in some **** hole of a country with nothing but a 5th century religion and having your hand cut off for picking your nose and your sister stoned to death for showing here mustachioed face.   Seeing the guy who runs the place live in palaces.  

Course.. he rules with an iron hand so you can't really do much against him so the second you can find a target that you can strike back at...  the guy in that palace will probly give you the gun to do it too.

The way they live and their religion make em terrorists.    A hard life and a jealous one.   Everyone who is not as misserable as they are is the enemy and there really is no one as misserable as they are.

so, respondants who said 911 was justified are considered to be radical?  

- theres a big diff between saying 911 was justified, and going out an doing a suicide bombing, big diff.  not only that, but most suicide bombing happens in Palestine, and i don't see Palestine listed above. why not?

the article never does answer the question what makes a muslim radical.

I would say that if a person has the balls to admit in a poll that they believe Sept 11 was justified, they're probably a radical...

in your opinion, what makes a Muslim radical?  the article is supposedly "enlightening", but it does not illuminate.

The point that lasz was most likely trying to make was that current world views, social norms and life conditions in parts of the world where Islam predominates have more in common with the time period when Islam was first established than parts where Christianity predominates have with the period when it was first established. Two fine examples of this include treatment of women and tolerance of other religions. In short, however myopic Christianity is, it at least made an attempt at evolution. Islam did not.

Stop telling everyone that you're getting your coat. It was only moderately funny the first time.

thank you newbob.. that is exactly what I meant.    Granted that chrisianity was somewhat more enlightened than the muslim religion even in the 9th century but...

You would be hard pressed to find a christian country that believed in stoning women to death today.   Christianity has evolved whereas the barbarism and biggotry of the muslim one has fluourished and remained basicaly rooted in the dark ages.
