Suggestion: Arena list in tower!
« on: December 18, 2006, 04:25:22 AM »
I don't know if it ever been mention, but...

Can we have an arena list in tower to tell which arena has how many user?

I know it probably not a big deal for US timezone peak-time fighter as you got crowded arena anyway. But for our kind off-peak Asia-Pacific timezone fighter, me and my squady always need to go out to check if we are playing in "right arena" (most used arena). It's especially painful when we playing at our afternoon, when US ppl start leaving arena, all the sudden there is no one around.

The approach we use right now is ask someone on the ground to leave arena, check status, comeback in and voice us the status of other arena. A buildin arena list in tower would be very very helpful for us to decide which arena to play or to move.

Or simply a dot command would be helpful.

I have requested this before, the problem is that the arena would have to connect with HTC servers. Currently, H2H (Free Multiplayer) arenas are hosted on an individual's computer, they are in no way connected to HTC servers. Because of that there would be no real method to connect to the H2H lobby to check the activity of other arenas.

Odd reply! I thought ttso was thinking about the players in the other HTC supported arenas. e.g. So when in Blue you can see how many in Orange without logging out. Good idea btw

If the arena list / roster was presented as a web link / page off of the HTC main sight, you could use the 'web page help' on the clipboard to get a peek at it.  Don't know if it would solve all your needs, but it would let you keep flying in one arena while peeking at the others.
