Losing Points when discoed
« on: December 25, 2006, 11:54:56 PM »
Hello all,
The other day I used some points and got a jet bomber, cost me a bit,but I like it.
Anyway, what happened was that I got disconnected, and it cost me the points.I came back on,and it did it again,me and my squad mates were on a run, needles to say I did not get in another one.

My question is,can this be fixed.I mean, when a person disconnects, can they expect to lose the points of the plane they may of "bought'?

I do not know if this question has been asked before, and it probably has,but I am wondering if it is even possible to fix this..

                                                    Peace and Plenty,
                                                            Kevin

Someone shoots at your 262, you pull the cable. Disconnect, perk loss.
No, there's no way to tell the difference between the cable pull or someone losing connection halfway through the route economically.

So in short, no.

Any perks earned in a sortie don't count unless that sortie ends (death, crash, landing). The perks you paid for the ride are deducted BEFORE the sortie, is my guess. So if you don't LAND that sortie, you don't get them back. Like OOZ said, it's that way to prevent "gaming the game" to chicken out of losing your perks.

Yes I understand, after posting this I got to thinking about it and you are correct. It would be a way of not losing perk points.

                Thanks for the info guys.

It is a bummer.  I have a internet connection that sometimes just gives up on me and I get discoed.  Lost a jet and a temp once...sucks.
