Things were looking up early last week, but she has suffered a real setback and is not expected to make it through the night.
So please have a drink for Elsie when you go out tonight.
Going to keep my subs up, I will be back sometime.

I have a full 1/5th of Bacardi, 1 pint of Cuervo that are laughing at me right now. I am getting over a nasty allergy/cold type deal as it's 50 degrees after Xmas in Michigan. I'm taking some pills, but not mixing with alcohol.
Kev, I'll PM you my phone number. I'm a good listener and if there is anything I can do, I'll try and help. Ask MacMAW, I've talked to him a few times and gained a friend in another state.
My mother recovered from Diverticulosis, and went to Mexico with my Father until March 15th. I've been unemployed since August, but hopefully by 5pm today or Wednesday I'll now if I'm working at Pfizer. The ONLY thing my parents wanted before going to Acapulco, was to know that I "had a job". I hope I can not only give My Family the Best Xmas present, but that phone call to my parents will be emotional. Being 33, married for 8 years, and having a 5 year old son who wanted every toy imaginable and unemployed, is sobering. If I get this job, my wife and kid are getting more "unexpected gifts" to make up for this trying time. I've been able to realize how lucky I am to have the Family and Friends that I enjoy spending time with. I think I took it for granted at times, while being employed. I won't make that mistake again.
I wish your Mother Elise, you, the rest of your Family & Friends the best of wishes, and dreams for this New Year. May God grant you all the Strength and Resolve in these trying times. I will Pray for you and yours though.
Your Friend,
Jay "Karaya"
PS - I'll wing you anytime, if you even pop in for one sortie.
