Author Topic: ATI radeon 9250 problems (Read 271 times)

I know the 9250 is not the greatest card in the world....but for about 6 months everything was running smooth...all of a sudden i have issues.

1. I have to disable the horizon or else the sky and ground are covered in black.
2. Cannot distinguish the difference between friend/enemy on map.

Have tried all I know...downloaded older drivers, nothing seems to work.

Any help would be appreciated.

you need the 4.12 cats or omega's

your on a pritty weak card , ive messed with those cards befor on a pc running ah and they also have a tendency to over heat (if there air cooled)

but i havent seen one yet that didnt work with the 4.12 drivers .

thats were the 4.12 omega's are ... i dont know who still has the cats .. but i use the omega's on all my pc's and there fine.

I will be putting up a link to the Catalyst 4.12's so they will be available directly from us. There is no simple fix to this problem. Working around it has the potential of breaking other things with every other video card on the market, including newer ATI cards.

thanks again for all the help guys....I ended up re-installing my old 120gig HD and downloading everything need for xp....and microsoft dowloaded the correct ati driver for me.

Weird i think....but everything is normal again
