One thing about a t-shirt, though, it will take time to design it and get it done (or with patches, same thing), whereas we can donate to the trust fund right now.

I'll go whichever way folks want, but I, too, think it's probably best to donate to the fund.

Fund T-shirt

It may be really nice to use T-shirts, but since there is a fund already set up, maybe the way to go is make donations as individuals.  Another way may be to set up something for the community to send money to, and then gather it, and send it to the fund they already have as one big AH donation.  This way there would be no expense like you may have getting shirts. All the money goes where needed.

That might make a really nice impact on the family if they got one big donation from the AH community.
Just a thought.

There are no 'wrong' ways to go so long as nobody profits from the proceeds.  Personally I'd like someone to come up with a patch that commemorates the memorial flight (sadly I lack the skill to do so).  I will be contributing as soon as funds allow.

That flight reinforced my desire to be a respectable and long term member of this community despite any rough times and changes that may come.  To have over 200 people show up for a memorial flight says a lot about a man.  Respect is earned and obviously 68KO earned the respect of many.

To the folks in 68 I understand how gut wrenching this whole ordeal has been for all of you but you stood like men and made a wonderful memorial to one of your fallen with class, dignity, and respect.  I respect that more than you know.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of it.

To the rest of the people that showed up (and I know there were many who wanted to that couldn't for whatever reason).  That was one of the most memorable and humbling moments of my life.  Thank you as well.

To the family of 68... I speak for no other family but my own but I think you now have several others to choose from.  We stand ready to support you, talk to you, and help you in any way that we can.  Our warmest wishes and prayers to you during this time and in the future.

I'm here to stay regardless of how bad I fly.

I watched the video, I cried also it seems that loss is a common factor these days. I ve lost 10 freinds, colleques, whatever you want to call them to the war in Iraq.

Where ever I can help I will.

Someone design a patch and a shirt would be my suggestion with the proceeds going to the fund.

I think a patch with the squad logo and the birthdate and the date of his passing would be nice. I would buy sevral. Could also put or RIP on it.
