Mrs. KO,  I'm not sure how you are doing this.  You have my utmost respect in how you are handling things.  I never lost my wife, but I did lose a child a year and half ago.  I wont say I know how you feel, but I know the pain of loss.  My sympathy and condolences to you and yours.

I do not know where in this world you reside, but I do know that if you need it and somebody here can make it happen it will.  These are great people.   I only had the honor of flying with KO a couple times, but he was one of the first names I ever learned on this game.  Great pilot, and a great man from everything I have heard.  I was honored to participate in his memorial flight and would be happy to do so again if it is needed.

Speaking from experience, I can only share that time is a great healer.   The pain will fade, and the fond memories will be eternal.

Good luck to you.

Hi there Sue.  Did ya get that mic problem figured out?  A few folks were having  trouble with it the other night so it probably was  the game itself, anyway, welcome to the board.

<> sue, welcome.....i flew a few of KO's missions, always alot of fun, i wish i had flown more missions than i did. the 68's are a great bunch of guys...except for that 68hall guy...he's seems like a rebellous one so watch him ..just kiddin hall :)

i couldnt never imagine what you and your children are going thru. and i dont know the right words to say to help ease your pain a lil. but what i do know is that this is a wonderful community to be a part of and you will always be in our thoughts and prayers and welcome to fly with any of us that you want. if you ever get on the game, and want some female company ( on this game its hard to find ) i'm sure i speak for all us AH girls when i say..just let us know, we would be happy to wing up with you anytime.

Welcome Sue,

Flew with KO quite a few times.

It's good to have you here with us.

If you ever begin the flying thing....I'm sure 68th would be your home. Since the squad I am in flies the same side I am sure we would cross paths. Speaking for the entire squad , we'll look forward to that.

Best Wishes to you and your kiddos and entire family.

Just watched the memorial video today, gave me chills.  I never flew with KO but he sounded like a terrific leader.

Welcome Sue

Hello Sue  I always enjoyed 68KO when he was on...I remember one snapshot when we both flew bombers together..a real treat! we knew together  we could give the "bad guy" a tough time..on this particulair run seemed all the fighters were attacking 68KO ..it was like "check 6" check 6 check 6! anyway together we brought down a bunch of the bad guys and together we made it back......I'm going to miss that man!

Sue I always fly Bombers and if your interested your more than welcome to join my bomber group and fly along as a gunner....I think 68KO might have liked that idea!

Sue Although we have no idea what its like for you...know many of us are sharing your pain.
to you and 68KO

Thank you for allowing us all the honor to do so.  <> to you.

By the way, I think that we should do another memorial flight, just so that Sue can be a part of it.  I think that is an honor befitting the kind of man that we all honor.

I guarantee that you can count on all in the VF-31 "Tomcatters" to be there again.

Sue,
I didn't get to make the memorial flight as I was between bases with a big move from Italy to North Carolina and was without my computer when the flight took place.  I flew many times with KO and as I dig through hours and hours of film I will pay attention to see if I have anything with him on it.  I miss him alot and hope God and this group of misfits in here helps you get through this.  I you and wish you and your family well...
