Your settings wont effect the plane on your six. If it has tracers on you are going to see them if your looking.

This isn't currently possible. He was suggesting it to HTC, I believe.

The biggest problem with that is that tracers are set as you leave the tower, meaning if you change your tracer settings in mid flight, it applies to your next flight. Control set commands, even automatic ones, appear to happen after you hit the runway.

I have a severe NEED for tracers, simply because I often use them to clear somone's six. But, in bombers, I like to turn them off, so the little C-Hog newb who thinks he is being 'sneaky' by approaching my B-17G from dead six 10mph faster than me and flying straight and level never knows just how he died...

lol if i was on that newbs team ill just fly above/below the bomber and blow it up while the pilots distracted:D

Funny thing is, when I am cruising in a B-17, im really not paying any attention. The only way I even get a hint that they are there is when from D600 their aim is so bad I see the tracers whizzing by not doing a hint of damage, I jump into the rear, fire a 1 sec. burst and BOOM! Easy kill.
