Trend Micro - product: P-Cillin.

Seems they advertise a price of ~44 dollars for P-Cillin on their home page..
 .. then bill you 44 *pounds* .. ~92 *dollars* at current exchange rates for a year useage.

Perthaps math just isn't their strong point.
Makes me wonder if they know a bit from a byte.

Have you called/emailed their customer service department? Because I run TM myself, and i guarantee you i didn't pay $90 for it... it must be a simple mistake.

But if it's not... that sucks!

Yassir .. emailed them .. got the response:

'Check your local bank for the current conversion rate..'

..and 'you purchased product from Trend.uk' (that's where the link took me for buyin it) ..'that's why it was billed in pounds instead of dollars'

..and 'could you fax, email, or send a link to show a different offer?'

So I pasted the link into an email, and copied the web page into it also, listing it for ~44 *dollars* ..and yes ..the product seems to work fine.

I just hate bein ripped off.

I have it on my latop here, it works good. Always have to be careful where you by from. Some places sell the same software for $44 and 44 euro you can buy in the us and save a bit. or if not careful buy from the US and get hosed.

if this is a scam thread...has any of you with a Paypal account gotten the Paypal email scam?  

Always always always...question an email that sends you to a link that asks for your mothers maiden, SS number, account and password info. I just can't believe people are stupid enough to buy into these scams, however after seeing Vulcan's thread, I'm feeling like a rocket scientist at the moment....:huh

Volksraiffeisen Bank has got to be the most incompetant bank in the world. Every week they lose my account info at least 4 times and need me to send it in again. They are so incompetant they dont even realize I have no account there. Oh well. Paypal is also trying to scam me out of 50, they keep sending emails saying I owe them 50 and to give them my bank info. People are so frikken stupid, oh for the days before warning labels. I saw on the news here that a center of scamming in Romania is raking in so much that the main Romanian banks have quintupled their operations in this formerly useless little town, dang gypsies, we should send xmarine over there and deal with them too.
