I am getting a computer with Intel Core 2 Duo Processor 2.13 GHz, and GeForce 7300 LE.

Am I hosed or what?

Should I be upgrading the card or will it work?

Current system rocks with GeForce 6800 and 3.4 GHz chip. Both systems will have 2 Gigs ram.

IT will work , but its like having a corvette governed at 20mph, all that power and no way to use it .

At your earliest opportunity, swap out that vid card. Almost anything is faster than a 7300. If your old 6800 will fit in the new computer, reuse it.

The new cpu is a lot faster so at least you have that going for you.

I've got the same setup - an HP. AH works just fine with the 7300LE. Pare down your running processes like ususal. But I've jumped into the game at times with all the stock processes running and still gotten very good performance. Are other cards better? Sure, but this one works just fine for AH. It sounds like you may have the same HP. If so you've got 2GB ram too.
