Screen freezing during disco

Heya all having some problems as of lately (patch 1.2) with discos.

The discos I can handle (could be route is bad, since I have cable modem) but as of this patch my screen locks every time I get the disco screen. Normaly I should return to desktop after I hit the ok button on the disco screen. But when I do this now my screen freezes and I have to do a cold reboot of my system.

I have the Same problem Bee, but experience this next time : Wait for aproximately 120 seconds and you should get back t the Menu screen. When AH discoes, it looks like it's trying to reconnect to the Host and for some reason suffers a time out. (Of course, I don't work for HTC, so , again I could be wrong...)

So, basicaly I suffer from the same dissease as you, but I wait and I come back to the Menu Screen. (I can't stand hard booting...)

I have the exact same thing happening.  In fact it happened right in front of HT yesterday in the main arena.  I too have not sat for the 2 mins to see if it comes back, But I do know I can't {alt/tab} out or even {control=alt=delete} out of the program while it is frozen.  Also, in my score report, not all of them are counted as discos.  The sum of my results do not equal the missions flown.  I am using a p3 450 with 64meg sdram, and a 4meg video card (Creative Labs Graphics blaster) and a 8mg diamond accel.  I have updated all the drivers, and am using drectX 7.0

Ok, It happened just a bit ago. and I waited 15 mins. and still froze.  I also have a SB live soundcard.

CC Wmutt, I can't alt-tab either... cold reboot (need to press reset key on pc) haven't had a disco since last time so didn't have the chance to test saw's suggestion... I'll see.

This is a known bug that will be fixed in the next release.  It will time out after about a minute or so.
