I still think Mike Ditka would be perfect.  He played for the Cowboys for a couple of years and he was an assistant coach under Tom Landry for several years (6 years?)  maybe he would punch TO in the nose and shut him up.

I would have to wonder about any coach that would want to take the helm of the stinking, er sinking ship that is the Dallas Plowboys.

The cowboys are a relatively young team with potential talent IMO.  I don't think its a sinking ship.

As long as the coach has to work for Jones, it will always be a sinking ship.

No way will Norv Turner get the job. His offense is out of date. Pete Carrol might be a good guess. JJ has the $$$ to lure him in.

Please, no more coaches from the Northeast. We are overpopulated with Yankees as it is.

I guess that makes Jimmy Johnson the John Paul Jones of the NFL (the navy hero, not the Led Zep bass player).

The only reason Jimmy had any success was due to Jones being too busy putting his face in front of the cameras to notice what was going on.

After the press got tired of putting Jones in the spotlight, his attention turned to doing everything he could to ruin the Cowboys.

For the record, I really do not like Jones and the way he tries to run the team.

I don't remember alot of Cowboy fans feeling that way during their Super Bowl run with J. Johnson.  But then again 'boys fans have been the most fickle of the bunch.

Lovie is a Texan. He will bail the cheapskate Bears and be in Dallas by February 6th.
