yup they carried no bombs they were heavy fighters along the line of the A20 conversion the P70 or the the P61 Black Widow.

There were several armament configurations. I listed one that would probably be the most potent in AH. That plane would need all the help it can get.

Many of these fighter variant could carry bombs...in bomb racks and internally. They rarely did, but they were cabable of doing so.
