OK, I've had enough.
I personally CARE about both my score and my rank. I try to EARN them through HONEST play. That said, and before I go on, I'm not an angel. All of us have probably at one time or another, and most likely still now, milkrun, vulch, HO, etc., etc., etc. from time to time.
It seems to me these "eliminate scores" whines are coming from those who;
1. Can't play every aspect of the game or
2. Aren't willing to play every aspect of the game.
That's just my guess. I haven't checked your scores.
I recently put together a fighter squad. I didn't look for players with high ranks. I looked for players who had a decent kill per sortie rating in fighters (as I've said on too many occasions, kills per death are meaningless). That gave me a strong indication of who the better fighter pilots available to me were, the point being that even though I care about my own score/rank, I know it's not the only measuring stick of ability and we now have a small squad of decent fighter pilots that I have a lot of fun flying with.
We have what we have and I think it's pretty good. It incents people for all types of play, not just the type that "you" enjoy.
If you want to know who the good players are look at the stats in a way that aligns you with others with similar goals but don't whine if others play differently.
