I have brand new computer. While flying with old one sounds were pretty good but now those are like crackling tin cans.Is there means to optimize sound?

You may get a better response if you can provide some detail !

e.g. Are you using an onboard chip or a soundcard. From what I have heard some motherboards do not have very good sound chips.

Give all the information you can about your system for the best chance of a useful reply!

are you using "stock" AH sounds? or did you download a sound pack?

Data:

AMD Sempron processor 3400+ 64 bit

There is also nVidia chipset assembled:

graphics C51G

audio MCP51G

So game are not using those.I think what I hear are stock sounds.I haven't loaded a sound pack in my knowledge.
