I havent been muted or anything, but I have been warned on words I had no idea were not allowed. I think every time has been on the squad channel. I think it is good not to allow certain words...

With that said, I have more problems with the vox. My kids are not yet able to read and understand what is typed, but they can hear them. I must admit I have uttered a few things on vox as well. Since the text can be seen by more than just on the specific vox channel you are on, and it would most defintely be abused if allowed, I think the system works well, even if some of the words you get warned for are a little strange. :aok

I dont think i have ever been warned by a mod or anything though, so I am not sure what they monitor, but I was thinking 200 and the country they are in? I didnt even know there was a .report thing lol.

I can't comment on the PM part falc but the stuff that was bantering back and forth between you two wasn't all that vulgar.  

I guess what it all boils down to is that twinboom was goaded and then spammed.  thanks for being a big boy and fessing up as it were.  

I suspect perhaps HTC will take this opportunity to address the obvious problem with the report function on a voluntarily tuned channel.

it is a topic that probably needed to be broached on a community wide level.  awareness is a good a thing in cases such as this.

I have never used the .report inspite of all the crap tossed my way but then again I enjoy the banter.  some of the .reporters really need to get out and about just a tad, maybe the live sheltered lives.

I have been muted a couple of times... .I must say I have deserved each one and never felt I was treated unfairly.  IMHO the system seems to be pretty derned fair.


I've been politely asked by mods to lighten up a bit a time or two and always appreciated, and heeded, this friendly warning.

Im actually quite curious about this myself, as I have recently beem muted for typing "Sheisse" after hitting an invisible tree. It was in EWA, and I have typed it before and since without any result in the other arenas. Only EWA muted me for typing Shiesse. I didnt know it was so recognizable...

We still can type schwuler without being muted and best being thanked by the some dweebs thinking it's a compliment :p

I'll go ahead and admit I been muted before. Then quit for nearly a yr. Looking back on those days, it wasnt a/h or the community the sparked me off, it was a lousy homelife, which thank god im free of now.(might happen again, never know). But the break, was what I needed from the game, If you find yourself getting fired up by text, or vox, maybe its time to step back and reevaluate what Really is eating ya,...Just a thought. as you were. :noid
