it's the angle ( and the contrast/brightness of pic), I can make out the left horizontal stabilizer/elevator  overlaying the left wing............

nice  pic Biggles........

thanks for the comments all :) glad you like it :)

i'm a total noob at this, but i just signed up at screenshotart.com and some of the guys there have already kindly given me some tips. have started on a pony diving through the clouds now :)

this is quite addictive getting it right actually lol, i can see this being a lot of fun :)

next i'll have to figure out how to put some real formations in the pic :)

if anyone ever feels like starring in a picture, i could always use a few decent formation fliers :)

forgive my dumbness, but did you start with a screenshot and fix it up, or did you just insert planes into a background you created?

It would be a perfect desktop if the Corsairs were positioned off to the right...(So u wouldn't have to re-position your Windows clickables)

Nice pictures.

That reminds me of the fact that if there's one thing in AH that is technically, visually, and absolutely sub-par when compared to a variety of other games, its how they handle the water.

Frankly, the "animated water" option is a complete flop. I can't understand how such an aesthethically ugly display can take up so much system resource.

If there's room for improvement, its definately how the water is portrayed.
