Randomize Task Groups & Support Ships

I think it would be interesting to have Task Groups with different mixes of vessels on a random generator.

For example:

We could have ...
A TG with a battleship in place of the carrier.
A Battleship with an Escort Carrier
A Carrier with 2 Cruisers
A Carrier with an Escort Carrier
A Carrier and a Battleship (would be a rare event)
and the current TG setup.

These would randomly spawn when a port is taken/TG sunk. Perhaps a check to see that no duplicates are spawned. It would kinda suck to end up with 3 Battleship TGs.

Also didn't most Task Groups have several support ships alongside/nearby? Coaltenders, Munition transports etc. I think some support ships would be interesting. A Munitions transport could be added and when killed would kill the CVs ords. Same deal with a Troop Transport. A CV Task Group is essentially a mobile airfield, so why not have targets other than the CV (FH/VH/BH), Destroyers (Ack), Cruiser (Big squealing Ack) that could be destroyed to weaken the TG.

I really like this idea. maybe some day it will be implemented. i hope it will be.

I believe TG should be more like Airfields. 4 Cargo ships, and if all 4 sink no supplies (bombs, fewer fuel, rockets, etc..) Maybe 2 transport ships that would = as barracks, and GV hanger. This would add more AA support for TG and maybe add a escort carrier for a second carrier.

Carriers carried the ammo for the planes , why would there be a gv hanger on carrier?:huh

I didn't say there be a GV hanger on the CV. I said there be 2 Troop transport ships that would = as barraks (on a field base) which if you destroyed both transport ships, you couldn't get troops for the LVT. The transport ships would also = as the GV hanger (on a field) which if both are destroyed you can't up LVTs or PTs.

Why do I even try to explain.

Im Still into the idea of having to at least sink multiple ships before cv dies. Just to kill the cv can be done easily by an experianced player. The dive bombing LANC though sux. Thats so idiotic, i mean if you cant level bomb, you shouldnt even be able to up a bomber IMO. But it would be nice to have to take out the Cruiser, and maybe two destroyers before the cv damage was really taken into into account. :aok
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.
