Hummer's aren't all they're cracked up to be.
This Jeep pulled an H1 out of axle deep mud. He lost his reverse gear and first gear in the process. But, the H1's "attitude toward inferior Jeeps changed after being pulled out by Jim's TJ."
I wouldn't own an H1, H2 or an H3. The H2 is the most problematic vehicle made (at least it was for it's first two-three years of production). The H3 is a steaming pile of chit, seconded by the H2. The H1 isn't worth the money, as only the wealthy would only like mallcrawling in it, as opposed to wheel it.
Rip, nice ride. Throw a 4" lift and 33's or 35's on it. Take you kids wheeling on the way to fishing. Make excuses to spend even more time with them while you can. After I fix my blown 304 in my CJ7, I plan on taking my 5 year old son to the Silver Lake Sand Dunes here in Michigan.
You did your homework, and did good. <
