ive down loaded some fonts from simmers paintshop and tried to install them in my fonts foler  but nothing seems to happen!!.

An ideas what ive done wrong or is there a special way of putting them in.

all i am doing is opening up the windows font folder then copying and pasting the font i down loaded into it but it appears not to work!!

go to control panel -> fonts
in the file menu item there should be an entry like "install new font"

I've not the exact translation as I'm using a french version of windows

You can also right-click the font and there should be an option that says "install font". Some need installing, others you can just copy to the fonts directory.
