ATI_Radeon X1300XT Problems
« on: January 30, 2007, 07:21:27 PM »
Hi there,
I am having a problem just getting the game started, got a new video card and can't seem to get the darn thing to run. Tried turning down the video accel and sound accel but that did not help, to looks like a driver issue.
Any suggestions.

P.S.
I also installed the Dual Core Optimizer from AMD and that did not help.

You said got a "NEW" video card , did you uninstall the old one's software and drivers thoroughly? Did you delete the video8.cfg file in AH2's setting folder? Did you disable the onboard video in the bios , it looks like it from the dxdiag but just checking .  If not try those and see .  Good luck, 38

Was the old video card an onboard solution?  Or was it in a slot and you physically removed it?

Did you remove the drivers associated with the old card/chip?  If the video chip is on the motherboard, did you disable it in the system BIOS, after removing the drivers for it?

Is your sound card drivers installed?
