Employee Incentive Plan announcement today.  8 working days of bonus for salaried employees for this year. Alittle less than extra paycheck is all.

Ain't happening. Press speculation.

Hey BBGun, didn't you guys get a signing bonus, garanteed? Ours is tied to profit...no profit, no check.

Well, we (er, speea - though it was one of the few things I actually agreed with them on) asked for profit sharing or profits based bonus in lieu of a signing bonus.  Company said NO.  Then immediately after the strike and signing of the contract - they gave the non-salaried employees almost exactly what speea was asking for their workforce.

It was a direct slap at the union.  And if it wasn't meant to be - nearly everyone *I* worked with thought so.

I channeled it into a different mode of transport. I bought a BMW. An 04 R1150RT. I found one with only 5400 miles on it. Bummer I can't post a picture of it.
