Shreveport?! Son, anything north of Baton Rouge is considered Arkansas. If you want Cajun food you need to go way south. Lafayette would be a good stop for authentic Cajun food. Look up T'Coon's restaurant and get the rabbit fricassee or get the shrimp poboy from City Garden Market. Shreveport...man that ain't cajun!

blackened/cajun alligator, mmmmm good!

crawfish too, find a place where you can order 'em by the pound.  :)
