B-26 Gunsight not right
« on: February 07, 2007, 12:59:10 PM »
When using the machine guns from the pilots seat in the B-26, the guns do not fire to where the crosshairs are - the bullets go to a point about 3/4 of the way to the top of the default gunsight.

When trying to strafe targets while at a low altitude, its almost suicidal because you have to point your nose way UNDER the target to even come close to hitting it.

I hope this hasn't been posted before - looked thru all 3 pages and didn't see it mentioned.  If it has - never mind . . .

I also tried to adjust the head view up and down, and couldn't get it to work.  Does it work for you?  I moght have adjusted the default view a long time ago, but can't remember.

Hitting the "Home" key gets you back to default position.

Thanks lusche - that fixed the problem.  I guess I had changed the default view before.  Please disregard my previous posts.:o

I didn't realize that.  Do you have to do it for every view or just once for that plane?

Not that I'm going to change all my views but it might come in handy one day.

For each view, in each plane/gv/gun .

Just like F10 saves  just one view in one plane, "Home" restores only that specific one to default.
