Lastnight ( wasnt the first time ). I was firing at a tank in a clear area and I had the "hitting a tree" exploding round thing going on. Is this a bug or a range issue or does ltarcnuk have strange and wonderous powers beyond that of any nit? Im quite sure we can rule out choice c.

Make sure you are using the 'Ground vis range'. Access it by hitting 'Shift F4'.

Go approximately 1 min into this film.
Then use external view and get behind turret and watch .

I believe there is something funky going on with trees.

It happens often and forces repositioning into a more exposed position.

Even with gound detail at max you will sometimes hit invisible trees at distance.

I can only surmise it's one of the single trees (or 2 together) that you're hitting because they wont show up at those distances even fully zoomed in.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.
