Think about it.  From now on that dog is mentally scarred.  Any time the dog goes after a criminal, he'll be thinking to himself, "Is this crazy mother****er going to bite me?"

And the efficiency of the dog goes down.

Well, what I want to know is who stabbed "edge" in the chest. The criminal who bit Edge had a knife, and at the bottom it said that Edge underwent a surgery in 2006 for being stabbed in the chest. Sounds to me like the crook DID use the knife.

Edge was stabbed in 06. The criminal in 07 didn't stab the dog. Perhaps the dog went for the knife hand first.

I thought to win a Darwin Award you had to die because of the stupid act.  In this case I would declare him a runner-up with an excellent chance of an award winning stunt in his future.
