No it happens to everyone..  I was on the winning team 2 or 3 resets ago and was just about to land at one of our own bases when the war was won. The ack immediately started shooting at me because the base switched to another countries and it caused me to lose my plane. Wasn't a perk plane but I didn't get to land my kills.

The map change isn't biased on who wins it resets all the bases no matter what and then you have 5 mins to get to a base to land at. I was on the winning team when this happened.

The starting bases (or sections of the map) are randomized when a war is won. Some country may end up keeping the same bases.

One does NOT need to land his plane when a war is won/lost. One will get an automatic landed result when the server disconnects for loading a new map.
One just needs to stay alive for those 5 minutes.
