Real world radios all have a light or some other indication that you are transmitting.

In AH we see who is talking but we cant tell when we are transmitting ourselves.

A small appropriately colored T in the top right when Xmitting would be useful for those of us using HOTAS and in game voice and out game voice.

Once upon a time, when the ROOM and VOX panel were still by default stuck on your screen in the O'Club, Tower, and Hangar. You could see if you were transmitting.

Thought the little box in the top right corner still "lit" when transmitting?  Or is that the other guy?

Anyways, simple enough to do a "function check".... set Radio 5 to Your Name and Test.

Well, what he wants is something that lights up to indicate you are transmitting. I gues tuning to yourself wouldn't be a bad idea, yet that old feature that now is gone wouldn't be bad either. It's hidden until you press F12 or T and when you depress that button (and if you are actually transmitting) that particular text (If F12: Room (F12), If T: VOX (T) ) lights up in a region of the screen, such as the top right corner of your screen.

Or better yet, give the "beacon" yet another feature!

Yes...I want a light to turn on when I'm transmitting.

I don't need to test whether or not it works. I need to know I'm transmitting.

Its probably the pilot in me.

I'm used to getting sidetone when I transmit in real life. If I dont hear the sidetone I look down at the radio and it has a nice Yellow T that lights up when you are pushing the MIC button.

I use several different voice setups in my CH throttle depending on the situation.

I have a four way hat on my throttle for voice comms.

Normally, forward is Teamspeak, down is channel in game and back is area in game.

Occasionally I use other maps that combine TS and channel xmit to one button.

All I want is a little indicator that tells me I'm xmitting on the channel I think I'm transmitting on.

Hitech is a pilot. He will know of what I speak (If he reads this)

Added to this I would like to see a third channel to tune too for Vox...  Get's annoying when your in a group heaind to a busy capped field and have 9 guys all talking to eachother while your trying to listen to one guy help you scout for tanks on your way in with troops.  Sometimes just too much radio traffic going on.  Works greta if your working with your squad, but with 15 other people talking about going catfishing or something...get's to bee too much sometimes.

Still don't know why they took this out :(

Yet still no perma-squelch list :(
