I do hope AH is not going to acquite a reputation for being bug-ridden. Playing any film dumps me to the desktop - always has. Any setup suggestions?

Try the new patch.  Although not mentioned in Pyro's write up the film viewer works now.  At least it does for me and I was able to play a film I took yesterday after the new release and one I took today after the patch.

One thing to consider is that you may be trying to play a film from an older release.  Any films I have from older versions do not play and cause a dump to desktop.  As the code changes it may be that old films may or may not be able to be supported. Current films to this version seem to be playing ok for me.
So the question would be to you is are you trying to view films from an older release or films current to this release.

Should be fixed in the next patch.

Thanks, tried new film myself earlier with success. Now if only the absence of backward compatibility had been documented.

I am having the same problem Travis   When I try to play a film, POOF back to the desk top, even with new film from the last patch with the P47.

PS Love the snow men Pyro and HiTech

We've only had one backward compatibility problem that I know of, and it was documented in the readme.

Goat, is that happening with all films or just one in particular?
