YUPPERS! Same map in every room! Don't know the name of it, tt map? old training map? So sick of seeing it map? Your making my head hurt map?
My god come on, its been long over due for some new maps, and to the first idiot to tell me to submit a new one, "NO!", Im not on the payroll, I pay to play here, customers arent responcible for createing the product!
I remember reading in here when we first went to this 4 room system that new maps would be along, well its been too long, cough up!Get some new maps, or put up some of the old maps, or at the very least insure there is a different map in each room.
WE have already lost squadies to "IL2", This is getting painfully boring enough is enough time to come accross with at least five new maps in the rotation, there is no excuse to delay, combat tour will be along when it is ready in the mean time remember what the core business is.

And yes I am the father of Anna Nicole's baby.

I think Wednesday resets were because many times the large maps would not reset and rotate. With the small maps this isn't a problem.

I think there are 8 maps in rotation for MW & LW..

Mmesa
Ndiles
Sfma
Sfterr2

I don't recall the exact order.

The way every arena winds up with the same map is really quite simple. People go to the arena with the map they like. This increases the number of players in the arena. That decreases the amount of time to reset the arena. Once the arena resets, people go to their next favorite map and the cycle repeats itself until all arenas have the same map. They are then forced to play on a map they may not particularly like no matter where they go.

The only way to solve this would be to manually change the map in every arena once or twice a week. But then there would be the problem of people complaining about having the same map in the same arena for a week.

So, the question is how can this be handled to please everyone?

The answer is, you can't. You just do the best you can.

I do have one suggestion though. How about making maps rotate 3 times per arena so each country has to play each country position on each map before the arena switches to a new map? Then if the map hasn't rotated out of the arena in a week, reset it manually on Wednesdays.

Actually, it can be solved in different manners. Case in point, I don't have to fly in any of the MA arenas. I've pretty much just upped once or twice, decided that I still hate the map and went to the TA or the DA.

Downside of this, and one I'm very aware of, is that HTC still gets my $15 whether I fly in the MAs or not.

Well, um, heres a simple idea, how bout some new frickin maps, the same ol crap maps are still old and boring no matter what order you see them in. or how often or what area of the map your contry has,
As far as complaints go, im not just complaining im stating a fact that 1/2 the pep's in this game agree, and alot of the old names you are seeing less and less of.
We were told that small maps would be used on a temporary basis, that new maps were on the way, we have gotten "2" and thats it,
It's not a matter of side balanceing, eny, flyboy vs gv'er none of that ,it's called boredom, these maps are boring ,face it, boreing,worn out, seen better days, dull, ready for the garbage heep, trash plain old stinko.
there is no amount of explanation that can fix it,NEW MAPS, very simple, NEW MAPS, one more time, NEW MAPS, SAY IT WITH ME CHILDREN,NEW MAPS,SING IT LOUD SO ALL THE PEOPLES BE HEARIN YA NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

As most of the maps we are using right now are player made maps you "trashing" the maps as "boring" and such really entice people to make more maps. Had you an inkling of what your talking about you would know that making a map is no easy thing, even for those at HTC.

OK so lets say that your a complete idiot, or that you don't want to waste your precious time building a map. How about you come up with an idea for one? You have to look at the stratigies that would play out, make sure there are no bottle necks, make sure it basically fair for all 3 sides, and make sure its fun and not boring....heaven forbid!

Time to grow up and realize that you can't have everything your way just by throwing a temper tantrum. Help solve the problem by working with people to add to the maps, or learn to have fun with what ya got. Other than that, the door is over there ------------------------->

Why is it, that whenever someone posts anything negative about the game, all the mindless zombie HTC cronies come out with personal attacks. Do we need new maps Heck yes, could players make new ones...heck yes. It's obvious that most people are growing tired with the current maps and it sure would be nice to get some new ones.

If I had the patience to make one I would.

It could be done relatively simply by taking a map out of rotation for any arena if it's already up in say two others. Maybe better yet, group EW and MW and the 2 LW arenas so that if a map is up in one it's out of rotation for the other.

I'm not a programmer but have run a couple of IT departments in the past and I don't think this would be overly complicated.

Well, I guess if I played the maps instead of the people, I would be bored also. Perhaps I'm different. But, the map is just what I see on the way to the fight (and what I get a face full of after the fight

). Funny thing, fighting the people never gets boring.

I don't believe there was any slam directed towards the "Map Maker's". The ultimate complaint is boredom with same maps. How often to you watch a repeat on TV before you go "Oh fug that's on again", and then turn the channel. So what your telling me is, the only way I can see a new episode is become a writer, producer, and director?

Being one of the "Complete Idiots" that values what little "Precious Time" I have, why should have to become a designer of maps. I may be an idiot, but I'm not stupid. I can only imagine the amount of work that goes into building a new map and there are those that are much more qualified to do the job. and I have one hell of a respect for them.

Last night, same map, different twist though, must have been reset, our country shifted to different position on map. Same rerun, shift to different chair and watch from different angle, looked like different show (lol).

No slams or dunks intended Fugitive, just didn't completely agree with everything ya had to say
