Why 3 teams????

You have 3 teams because you have the Knights and then you have the herd (Bishops and Rooks) It has always been this way because it works the best.

Even in AW you had the Bz and then the Herd (Az & Cz) All newbies that pressed the "Fly" button for the first time, automatically became Az. They were the cream of the herd. Once they learned how to fly a little better they realized they were flying with the herd and they switched sides to BZ. Once they got really good at flying they switched again. This time to Cz, and became known as traitors. Thats right, traitors to the Az herd and traitors to the Bz. This setup an excellent rivalry that continues today.

Yes, 3 teams are definitely the way to go. Everyone can take a turn beating up on the other two. Sometimes the Herd still bands together and attacks the Knights. That is when the flying gets a lot of fun and images of the herd on a rampage fill my mind now as they did long ago.

we had that in Fighter ace .... Nations at war arena ...

the countrys with the better planes were always packed and ganging up on a lesser country ... it didnt work that great .... but then those arenas were limited to 100 players max .  and boy did they warp and turn into a slide show ..but then the coding in FA suked too .

I think it would be cool if we had bases that are country specific. A few USA only, a few brit only , a few german only etc... spread out per each country.
