I think the P47C should be added to the game.  It would fit into the early war as it was first used in Feb 1943.  They saw some action in the early war before being replaced by later P47 models.

56th left all their "B"s in the States when they went to England.  They first flew "C"s in combat on April 8, 1943 on a combined sweep over Pas de Calais with the 4th and 78th.

Functionally, its the same plane as the D-11, just without water injection.  There were other differences, but it performed almost identically, especially since most C's that were in the field received upgrades as the newer models rolled off the factory.  They received water injection kits, for example, when they were produced for the D's.

The problem is that there were no P-47's (even C's) fielded during the period that is encompassed by HTC's chronological definition of what the early war arena is.  IIRC, (don't have time to look it up) earliest combat in ETO was Spring of '43.  Earliest combat in PTO was Summer of '43.  That's outside of HTC's "mid-'42" cutoff of the early war arena.
