Speed and Climb Rate Charts
« on: March 04, 2007, 08:34:25 AM »
Ok, I know this is kind of a nerdy think to ask for, but it would be nice if all the speed at altitude and climb rate charts available in the hanger were scaled the same.  They are hard to compare at a glance because the x and y axis on different aircraft charts and not scaled the same.

Also be nice if the charts were printable.  This might be possible, I just don't know how to do it.

Carwash, go to trainers.hitechcreations.com, and partway down the menu there will be printable speed and climb charts that are all scaled the same.  I printed them all, then I printed "my ride's" on a transparency, 3 Hole punched the whole lot of them, and it's real easy to compare my planes to any others.

To go one better, there is a link to DocGonzo's aircraft comparisons, where you can compare and chart the aircraft wonderfully.  (Caveat, I myself don't know how current the data might be, but they "seem" to be representative of the aircrafts current modeling).

Ghastly,

The transparancy seems like a good idea.

Thanks
