Some do it because they never learned anything from anyone.

I get this mental image of a fat mentally challenged lad, with a helmet on, strapped into a bumper car, foot held down on the go button, and just relentlessly spinning around the floor smashing into things, with a blank expression on his face.

Now that's funny.

If it's a green mob I'll go find somewhere else to fight.  I'm still having trouble not upping from capped fields... must be ADD or something.

Nope that won't work, most of the people you are referring to will not take any notice anyway! But I do know what you mean.

Sadly even old timers sometimes get drawn down to that level of play in frustration. I have on a couple of occassions. Worse still, it does not leave a "feel good" feeling after you do it, quite the opposite in fact!

I watched eight friendlies chase one NME a few nights ago as I took off and climbed above them to meet the inbound enemies. You just know what is going to happen if your fight gets down to the deck :lol, :cry  or just plain

If you want to have 1on1's or 1on2's just go to the duelling arena. The problem with the Main Arena is its mostly a "free for all" I mean how many times have you seen 4 or more friendlies chasing 1 con.

I'm willing to bet its more than a few, more so if you're bish :)

Nope you can't, I was thinking we make it more efficient than that and simply have a 60 second timer to issue that one after the "leave him to me button" is pressed ;)

when i encounter a fellow knight engaged in a dogfight i'll key up and ask if he needs help, they will either respond back with a yes or no. if they say yes i'll help them if they say no i will just kinda watch his 6 to make sure he don't get ganged other than that he's on his own

Holy Crow, talk about timing.

This happened yesterday, and I was soooooo Pizzed. Took me about 7 minutes to climb out on altitude, the whole time avoiding the intruder I was after. A high F4u. Anyway. I get up therre, co-alt, and hes moving around, nothing on any angle, finnaly he breaks for another lad on the deck, I think it was Goose. ANYway, I chase this guy down, got bead on em, Im pinging em with b.b.s cause Im ina spit8 and they shoot like a airsoft flamethrower, just pinging away, round we go ping em here and there, from like 600 out, then 400 out, The whole time, Im like right on, u lost some peices here and there, and I see his sillohette getting just about the size I need, 200 out thats it, OPEN UP ALL. (U HEAR BAM), Boom, Im in the friggin tower, Another fellow country man, flew in so hard, he knocked into me, and I kill shot myself. I left for about 10 mins after that. But man that sucked. the sad part is there was no warning, no VOX, It would be excellent if someone would just say dropping in, and if u do, have a little more plane control, not to hit your damn teammate. If I would have seen ya, I wouldnt have fired, but u came down on me, not kewl.

Thanx that is all. I feel better.
Forgot who said this while trying to take a base, but the quote goes like this. "I cant help you with ack, Im not in attack mode" This is with only 2 ack up in the town while troops were there, waiting. The rest of the town was down.

Man do i ever know that feeling.   Just the other day I loaded up a heavy P-47 and headed out.   Pretty soon I found my prey, there was this building all alone and not using any SA.   I quickly flew up on its six and lined up and fired my rockets just as a P-38 came screaming in and stole that kill right from under me and ran into my rockets.  My plane disengrates and he augers.....

Never bothered me too much. If someone wants to collect assists from my kills, that's their waste of ammo. If I don't get the kill, I should of fired more rounds.

I do ask before engaging in most cases, unless I see a green icon in obvious trouble, in which case, pick on and I refuse to apologize in these cases for helping out a countryman.

And as I have always said; The quality of the pick is always outmatched by the extent of the target fixation and the depreciation of the situational awareness that that fixation has caused.

Getting picked is never fun, mainly because it shows the 'pickee' how badly they messed up by becoming fixated on a single con in a hostile environment.
