my cockpit forward view is "blanking out my airframe where the prop overlaps it...causing the frame to be see thru...as if the frame is not the dominant, picture the prop is on top of the picture of the frame...
I am running a 200mmx with 96mb and a diamond s220 video card with a voodoo2 12mb monstercard 3dfx...this just started ...is it something I downloaded ...Hi res problem?...how can I reinstall everything clean? or is it my old machine? HELLLLLLLP!!!!!! I gotta get my fix of being IN the AH skies and the flicking cockpit is hypnotic...it is very distracting...I have yet to get a kill with it...oh forget that ...I have yet to get a kill anyway in online play...
if ther is a way please have pity on me...

Please, take no offense  to this, but one word would help your problem...upgrade!

I believe minimum requirements for AH is something like 233 or 266 mhz.

Is this happening on the 220 or the Voodoo?  Usually, this clears up by getting the latest drivers but it's odd that it suddenly started happening to you.  Did this start after you installed the hires textures?

Also what version of DX do you have?

no offense taken on the upgrade...and I am not sure if it is the s220 or the voodoo...and yes i did download hi-res and maybe should wipe the game from my system and re-install...just need to know how to get a clean slate on it...

sorry forgot to answer all questions  running dx7, and how would I tell which this program is using voodoo or s220?

ok I am running under the voodoo2 card...and did install the hi-res...frame rates down to 14-18!
i would like to clean the program from my machine and start over and wonder if anything is left in the registry after delete/uninstall?...

I'd try the reinstall first of all.  I would also upgrade to DX 7a, as it is far better than 7.0 as far as bugs go.  (Better fps too.   )

There is a tiny 200k patch to go from 7 to 7a at www.microsoft.com/directx
