CH & Sticky View problem
« on: September 26, 2000, 11:18:00 AM »
Well, I'm using a CH Fighterstick where most buttons are mapped to Keyboard commands (IE: B, SHIFT C, Keyp 1-9, ...)

It happens often to me to have my view getting stuck while pressing 2 buttons simultaneously (Ie Front View & Trigger)...

My guess is that the Key repetition frequency is not the Same on my Keyb & on the CH stick...(Usng Speedkeys). What is the Best "Char Rate" to set  ?

Cheers

Sorry I havn't responded Saintaw, but I don't have a clue. I use CH stuff, but it is the F-16 Combat stick and Pro Throttle and I use speedkeys too. Never had that problem myself.

I don't have the sticky keys problem. I'll look at my Windows setting and my Speedkeys setting when I get home and post it. Maybe it wil help.

Well, under the SPEED tab for "KEYBOARD" in the Windows control panel my "repeat delay" is all the way to the right up against SHORT and the "repeat rates" is al the way to the right up against FAST.

In "Speedkeys" the SPEED tab for my AH file the settiongs are as follows:

 repeat delay: 0.3
 repeat rate :  22
 max key rate:  25

Maybe this will help?
