Censhorhip gone too far...

Australia's Naughtiest Home Videos was an Australian television comedy series which gained notoriety when it was cancelled during its only broadcast on September 4, 1992. The series was a spin-off of Australia's Funniest Home Video Show. Hosted by Doug Mulray, Australia's Naughtiest Home Videos depicted videos of sexual situations and other sexually explicit content.

After being informed by friends at a dinner, Kerry Packer tuned in to watch the show on TCN-9 and was so offended by its content that he phoned the studio operators and ordered them to "Get that $#h!+ off the air". The studio operators complied, and the show immediately pulled the plug and went to a black screen saying the network had "technical difficulties" (in Melbourne, the show went to a commercial and never came back), with two reruns of Cheers filling the show's remaining air time. The proceedings in the studio were also halted, and the show's entire staff, including Mulray, were immediately fired and banned for life from the network.

Due to other programming obligations, some states aired the show earlier, and thus received the entire show. In most states, however, the last clip reported seen on the show before it got pulled was of a child reaching for a kangaroo's genitals.

The show ran for just 34 minutes of a 90 minute premiere.

That last line would have made the entire series for me...maybe we can get that episode on PPV :D

I had the displeasure of meeting Kerry Packer on two occasions.  He makes Donald Trump look like a saint.

I don't see it as censorship gone too far. I do see it as bad programming and lack of standards and practices procedures.

Who is Kerry Packer?
My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives.
Stay thirsty my friends.
