is there any way we can get a green light or ready to fire sign in ship guns...? i usually count to 12 then start clicking away. thank you.

That's a good idea IMO, it's always a surprise when you can fire again.
Perhaps even reloading sounds?

Not needed.  All you have to do is continue to hold down the fire button and it will automatically fire the next round once it's fully recoiled.
I edit a lot of my posts.  Get used to it.

what about ur shooting at a moving target, like a ship. you have to aim and you dunno when its done reloading.

  the game is concentrated on combat, not on shaking the screen.

If I'm planning on being in the big guns for an extended period of time working a town or base over I will sometimes even just rubber band the trigger down.
