How's this for a gun show "prop"

They have a project called "Keep em Rolling", in which the people find and restore military vehicles to their original look and function.

The latest addition to the stable is a M45 quad .50 anti-aircraft gun.  As part of the demonstration, the owner actually powered it up and put it through its paces (sans ammo of course).  It spins around VERY fast and can point straight up and includes the powered sight.

I want one.  lol

Put it on the back of your car / truck with a sign saying "tailgate this!"  :t
DEFINITION OF A VETERAN
A Veteran - whether active duty, retired, national guard or reserve - is someone who, at one point in their life, wrote a check made payable to "The United States of America", for an amount of "up to and including my life."

It was hooked to the back of a restored troop transport to get it to the show.  I tried to get them to let me sit in it on the way back to the shop but they took all the fun out of things and removed the guns and ammo drums before moving it.

Darn the luck.  :)

They are cool.

A few years back I got to fire the quad mount on an M16 Halftrack at Knob Creek... I was absolutely speechless (plus mostly deaf despite hearing protection) at it's raw destructive power on a simple Mazda.  Scary what it could do to an aircraft.
I regret doing business with TD Computer Systems.
