It's pretty sad that I seem to run out of gas chasing people more often than I run out of ammo because of shooting at them.

You mean best $1080 you've spent in the past 6 years... :D

Playing this game is a priviliage. Not a right.  The co-founders own it, and they have every right to charge more for this great product, but don't.

I remember an Air Warrior bill from way back in the early 90's close to four figures - for just 5 months of gameplay.  You've paid that for 6 years of AH. :)

For $15 a month, I expect access to online servers to play the game.

For them to KEEP getting my $15 a month, there had better be occasional additions to content and improvement which will keep my interest in the game.  Been here for over a year.  That's probably about the same amount of time I had invested in DAoC, AO, Shadowbane, and some other MMOGs.  Also about as much time I put into BF2 until aimbots and rigged servers got ridiculous.

A lot of time and effort seems to be directed at ToD.  I hope for the best, but looking at the populations in the various war arenas, AvA, and SEA.... I'm not betting any money on it.  The break up of the MA also does not have me convinced, considering how EW, MW, and the two LW have evolved.

A better, or newer game comes along, I move along.  What I consider good games don't come along all that often.  Most of the offal that game developers excrete these days, not counting the vapor-ware, isn't worth the CD it's loaded on.  Pretty eye candy but limited, or very linear, scripted playability.

Maybe I'll move to SHIV online play in two weeks.  Maybe it will be PotBS this summer.  Maybe it will be ToD (also in two weeks?).

But, interest is starting to wane for me.

Was paying more for less for a long time (except one event over there). Flying with old friends, and meeting a few new ones makes the 15 bucks not even seem to be an issue. If we were in a bar for one night a month...I'd sure spend more buying them drinks. :)

HT. Ya done good with the direction you've taken this. The general concensus with us is that this is where 2.77 should have ended up, instead of the mush and bug riddled...ah..never mind, not going there again. :)

Being a new AHII'er I am enjoying the game.  Flew GA aircraft for 10 years and ultralight for 50 hrs and flew some rc. I have met a lot of good folks and have enjoyed trying to apply the flying skills I acquired in real life. The basics apply but you never know what the other guy is going to do. I die a lot but each death is a lesson. My doctor turned me on the this game and we fly together a lot. I wonder if I could get him to write me a prescription for 20 hours of AHII a week.
I doubt the wife would go for it. Great game!:aok
