pc lockup in 4 or 7 sorties ? never happend before

i have a pIII 550 with a guilmont 32 gforceII  card.
im using the newest drivers from ndivia.
but i rather suspeckt its the keyboard and the joystick that does it. It seems when I use the hatswicht and the keyboard toghter then it hangs.
I have a logitch wireless keyboard and a microsoft force feedback.
The strange thing is that this never happend before.
maybe a few times after the patch but not as bad as yesterday.
HELP PLEASE   .

But i got black ice installed and its been lots of attack reports could it be that ?.

Ive got a pretty bad experience when my wife was looking up her documents (trying to change a job)they where totaly changed since the backup, and nobody else been able to do that inside the house.
well i guess i got a loving sneaker inside when online and thats what also black ice have showed.
Been much worse the last days now and it must be inside Aces high.
Ive been online flyig FA and online just for fun but no black ice reackting then.
just in AH and this actually make me consider the game over for me. Atleast for awhile.
other people also seem to have that problem i just worried aobut that a hacker could have feked that game up somhow and nobody know.

Dont think its Black ice..

I get the same dame thing,only started with 1.03.

I get random lockups now,never happened before 1.03. It will happen after 5 minutes,or i can fly for 3 hours then it locks up. Very inconsistant. The only thing i remember doing is unpgrading my Hercules TNT drivers to the latest version.

Lockups happen at any time, could be just about to engage con,or it will happen when auto pilot is on & im grabbing alt.

Will try going back to the previous Hercules drivers to see if that helps.Oh,one more thing,i could be on for a few hours a day,and it wont lockup for 3 days.. Very odd..

Ok boys listen up it may be your vid drivers at fault with lock ups.
IF you have loaded the newest unofficial beta drivers from Nvidia version 5.32 then from my experiences i say go back to 5.30 quickly.
After installing version 5.32 i was experiencing random lockups and even a spontaneous reboot during AH play, i also noted changing views seemed to bring it on at least 3 times and i use a diff joystick, a Saitek X36 USB  
Once when i crashed (the plane) computer froze with a red out screen needing a hard reset to escape from.
At this point i decided enuf was enuf and reloaded version 5.30 and happy to say not a single freeze or reboot since.
Remember if you do have these drivers they are leaked and unofficial, so dont blame Nvidia for your problems.

I have the same problem. I've been tearing apart my system to find the cause.  But right now it looks like AH.

20-40 minutes into a session and the system freezes.  Have to do a hard boot.

Abit BH2 128 meg ram
PIII 500
Viper 770 ultra.

I have the most standard system available and I only use it for AH.  No other games.

BTW why do I get "no updates, switching to TCP"?

 Kiljoy, I use sygate, an internet sharing/firewall type program. I get the "no updates, switching to TCP" too, sygate is only letting tcp through. I don't have any problems running AH like this.

BTW, I have tried Black Ice before. Not using it now, I didn't like it. I got plenty of attack warnings with it and have read it's extremely paranoid and overly reports attacks.

Im using the 5.22 drivers and they worked nice until some days ago.
I have  now changed to the original driver to check that out.
hope it works x my fingers lol.

I swapped out the PIII 667 chip with my old PII 400 and haven't had a lockup.  crossing my fingers, but this seems to be the source.  AH 1.03 is real sensitive.
